Catholic Healthcare has officially commenced construction on a new residential aged care Home at Norwest.
Catholic Healthcare’s Managing Director, David Maher said, “As an organisation we continue to grow and expand our services for seniors and the community as the demand for aged care increases.
“We are excited to start this new development and we look forward to unveiling the finished product next year and welcoming our first residents to their new home,” he added.
The new Home located at 64 Mackillop Drive in Norwest, when completed in 2021, will provide 104 resident places and feature a range of shared amenities that will be enjoyed by residents, their families and the broader community. This will include a Chapel, café, gym, hair salon and other activity and lifestyle spaces.
Catholic Healthcare’s General Manager of Property, Michael Lockwood said, “We are committed and focused on creating much needed additional services in Norwest and the surrounding Hills district to cater for the growing aged population.”
