Do you conduct interviews face to face or in person?
Our preference is to interview face to face however sometimes this may not be possible. In these cases, we can interview over Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

How many referees will I need to provide if I am successful at interview?
We require two professional referees from people who have supervised your work. We will ask you to add their contact details to our reference checking system - Referoo. If you have difficulty meeting this requirement, please speak with you Recruitment Specialist who can help you to explore options.

Will I need to do a Police Check?
If the role you are applying for is in Home Care or in our corporate office, you will be required to obtain a Police check. For those applying for a role in Residential Aged Care an NDIS Worker Screening Check will be required. Your Recruitment Specialist will advise you of how to obtain your Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening check.

How long between interview to commencing work with Catholic Healthcare?
This depends on how quickly you complete our compliance process. This includes reference and police or NDIS checks, as well as other documents that may be required for the role.
After we receive all your compliance we do a final review of your suitability and then a start date can be negotiated with your hiring manager.
