Home Care is an essential service that is providing seniors with the support and care they need to remain healthy and well at this time. We know this is a challenging time for people living in isolation, but you are not alone. Catholic Healthcare is here to help. Our Home Care services are operating today and every day to ensure seniors keep receiving quality care and support.
General Manager, Home and Community, Therese Adami says, “We understand that many seniors are needing support to remain healthy, safe and connected in their home at this time. Be assured, the health and safety of our clients and staff is our highest priority and there are many ways we can continue to provide essential in-home services.
“Catholic Healthcare’s Home Care team are providing support services for people at home and are taking all necessary measures to ensure our clients are safe, including following advice from Australian’s Chief Medical Officer about when to use protective equipment. We have robust policies, procedures and staff training in infection prevention and control.
“Our in-home services such as housekeeping are provided while maintaining appropriate physical distancing. It is a privilege to continue to support our seniors to keep them healthy and well at home during this time,” adds Therese.
